About Me

I’m Rebecca—owner & founder of Raspberry Travel LLC. I'm a mom of two teens, former homeschool mom, doodle mom, and sports mom through and through. Over the years, I’ve been a travel soccer mom, school sports mom, surfer mom, and even a fishing mom. My daughter is now a Sophomore in college, and my son is a Sophomore in high school. I’ve been married for over 20 years.

Using the skills I’ve honed over the last decade of managing busy sports schedules, road trips, and family adventures, I’ve developed a knack for keeping everything organized — which makes travel planning second nature for me.

My journey into travel planning began years ago when I worked as an administrative assistant. Back then, the internet was just taking off, and travel agents were essential. I loved helping my VPs arrange flights, hotels, and car rentals for conferences and meetings; I didn’t know how to break into the travel industry — and honestly, I was too shy to ask.

Fast forward to March 2023: my family’s Spring Break trip to Germany. From hand-picking hotels to coordinating ski rentals, lift tickets, and excursions, I realized just how much I enjoyed every step of the process. After we returned, I connected with a local travel advisor and we instantly hit it off; she’s been my friend, mentor, and colleague ever since, guiding me as I became an independent, certified travel advisor.

Today, I help clients plan unforgettable trips across the USA, the Caribbean, Europe, and beyond. Whether you’re dreaming of a relaxing escape, an adventurous journey, a cruise, or a custom pre-packaged tour, I can handle it all — flights, transfers, car rentals or private drivers, lodging, activities, and more. My goal is to match every detail to fit your vision, so all you have to do is pack your bags and enjoy the experience.

Education

Always Learning

Education is a crucial part of travel planning. I’m always learning — both from my clients and from my trusted travel partners. These partners not only educate me on their products and services, but they also provide in-depth training on destinations, travel styles, and unique experiences.

By completing certification programs, I stay current on the latest travel opportunities and insider knowledge. This means when I help you plan your trip, I’m not only matching you with great options, but I also understand the details that can make your experience smooth, enjoyable, and memorable.

Some of the certifications I’ve earned include:

  • Cruise Line Specialist programs (Royal Caribbean, Viking, Virgin Voyages)

  • Destination Training: Hawaii (Kauai, Oahu)

  • Tours: Collette, ETS Faith-Based

  • Hotels: Hilton, RIU
